Kim Namjoon

Namjoon taught me to trust the process

That it takes ten years to become an overnight success

Want and passion don’t unanimously make the dream

But taking time and letting good marinate into better

That you’ll only enjoy the process if it’s tiresome and excruciating

Keeps you up at night and fuels you in the day

That you’ll appreciate the going if it has ups and downs

Like a well written plot

And the climax is worth forgetting the conflict

Where the process will seem like God’s hand molding you better

That it’s okay to tear it apart, hate it, shred it to pieces

If it means you’ll think  better that way

That it’s okay to fall

If you know how to land anyway

That it’s okay to hate the process if you keep going anyway

That it’s okay to want peace

If it’ll restore your peace of mind

That it’s okay to work on the dream

Even if they hate you for it

Ten years, twenty days, an hour take all the time you need

If it means you’ll live a fuller life
